Fixity: A Rede Social da Colaboração app for iPhone and iPad

Fixity is a new concept in social networking, it aims to promote a truly collaboration.

We created it because we are saturated. Saturated of so much pointless content in our timeline, saturated about the difficulty of finding new people who are motivated and engaged to assist us in our actions, and saturated to see our posts be displayed for only a few people in our network, all to force us to pay to "boost" them. We are tired of not being able to talk to the right people. We are tired of seeing what we do not want to see and don’t find what we really want there.

There are many social networks for unpretentious posts like photos of family walks, inspiring quotes, pictures of cuddly cats, funny facts of day-to-day, and many others. But when it comes to collaboration, engagement and valued content, current social networks fail.

Our goal with fixity is to create a new social network whose focus is to help connect people around actions that are tightly aligned with their interests and abilities. A social network where its use reflects who you really are and what and the important things that you want to do.

Our vision is that every person should be able to configure with hight accuracy what your interests are, so that only appear in your feed posts really interesting. The basis of our app is not connection between people. Although eventually you want to follow a coworker in certain subjects, you do not always have an interest in everything that he/she post. The idea is that you determine what you want to see, and in a very transparent way, everything that is presented to you is clearly connected to your interests, even so you can refine it if you receive something that does not really matter to you.

On the other hand, when you are organizing an action, the fixity help you qualify your posting so it can reach audiences who have a real interest in it.

Fixity is a collaboration app aiming at performing actions that can be hobbies, social activities, entrepreneurship or any other kind of action or mobilization. For this we offer different types of posting. For example, you can post an "action" and direct it to people who have an interest in those kind of actions. Or you can post a "help" request (called only "help") that are targeted to the right people not only based in interests but also based on people skills. So you can, for example, search for a person who has a specific profile more likely to assist you in your project or action.

Fixity is not just a new application. It is a social experiment. We recognize that we haven’t all the answers, but we believe that together we can find most productive ways to interact through our smartphones.
